Page Info Fields and Blocks
Athena now has a new family of related blocks and fields called the Info blocks and fields.
The concept behind them is to provide a standardised, but expandable set of fields for each type of page (eg. product, cocktail, normal page etc..) where you can enter information about that page or post and then use the associated info block to display that data.
You might want to display the information on the same page or on other pages of the website and using the info block makes this easy as you will only ever have to enter the information once.
To get started you. first want to make sure you can find the info fields on your page and then add some typical content.
If you open up a page of any of the usual post types in an Athena website, such as a normal page, a product or a cocktail, you will see a group of fields below the main content area called the info group. On a product it will be called ‘Product Info’ and on an article it will be called ‘Article Info’.
Once you have added an image you are ready to try out the block.
When adding a block to the page you are editing you can search for the info blocks to get to them quickly.
In this example we will use article info. Once you have selected the block then you will see something like the following options (these may change a bit as new things are added).
